Judge Embry J. Kidd was confirmed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit on November 18, 2024. Previously, he was a United States Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, a role he had had since 2019. Prior to that, he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida. From 2009 to 2014, Judge Kidd was an associate at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. He received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2008 and his B.A. from Emory University in 2005.
