John Murphy was a partner at Baker and Hostetler, where he worked from 2007 to 2022. He served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Kimberly Moore on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from 2008 to 2009. He received his J.D., cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2007, his M.S. and PhD from the California Institute of Technology in 2002 and 2004, and B.S., summa cum laude from Cornell University in 1999.
