Tasleemah Tolulope Lawal (“Tolu”) (she/her) is an organizer and attorney. She is a co-founder and co-lead organizer of Unlock the Bar; a staff attorney at the NYU Law Center on Race, Inequality and the Law; and a leader in the People’s Campaign for Parole Justice in New York. She received her J.D. from New York University Law School in 2019, and her B.A. from Duke University in 2014.
