randon Hasbrouck is an associate professor of law at Washington and Lee University School of Law. He researches and teaches in the areas of criminal law, federal courts, movement law, and abolition. His writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Nation, Slate, The Boston Globe, and The Richmond Times, among others.
