Dana Douglas served as a magistrate judge for the Eastern District of New Orleans. Prior to that role, Douglas was a partner at Liskow and Lewis. Douglas clerked for Judge Ivan Lemelle on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She received her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 2000 and B.A. from Miami University of Ohio in 1997. If confirmed, she would be the first woman of color to serve on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
