Hector Gonzalez was confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York on March 23, 2022. Previously, he was a partner at Dechert LLP since 2011, where he chairs the firm’s global litigation practice. He has previously been a partner at Mayer Brown and served as a prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. He received his B.S. from Manhattan College in 1985, his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1988, and his M.A. in criminal justice from City University of New York in 1995.
