Robert Kirsch was confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on May 2, 2023. He previously served as a superior court judge for Union County, New Jersey, a role he had from 2010. Prior to that, Kirsch served as a federal prosecutor. He served as a law clerk for Judge William Zloch on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida from 1991 to 1993. He received his B.A. from Emory University in 1988 and his J.D. from Fordham University Law School in 1991.
