Andrew Schopler was confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California on March 7, 2023. Previously, he served as a Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of California, a role he had since 2016. Prior to that, he was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of California. Schopler received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1997 and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 1994.
