Cindy Chung currently serves as the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, a role she has had since 2021. Prior to that, she served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Pittsburgh from 2014 to 2021. She is the first Asian American to be nominated to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She served as a law clerk for Judge Myron Thompson in the Middle District of Alabama. Chung received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2002 and her undergraduate degree from Yale College in 1997.
