Judge David Ruiz served as a federal magistrate judge for the Northern District of Ohio since 2016. He was previously an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Ohio and a senior attorney at Calfee Halter & Griswold, a Cleveland-based law firm. He received his B.A. from Ohio State University in 1997 and his J.D. from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2000.
