Judge Florence Pan was confirmed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on September 20, 2022. Previously, she served on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia from September 23rd, 2021. She also served as an Associate Judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from 2009 to 2021, and prior to becoming a judge, she had experience at the U.S. Department of Justice and Department of Treasury. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988, and her J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1993.
