Jamar Walker was confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on February 28, 2023. Previously, he served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, a role he had since 2015. Before that, he was an associate at Covington & Burling. He served as a law clerk for Judge Raymond Jackson on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia from 2011 to 2012. Walker received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 2008 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011.
