Judge Jennifer L. Hall was confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on October 17, 2023. She was previously a United States Magistrate Judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, a role she has held since 2019. Previously, Judge Hall was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Delaware between 2011 and 2015 and served as Chief of the office’s Civil Division from 2015 to 2019. From 2008 to 2011, Judge Hall was an associate at Fish & Richardson P.C. Judge Hall clerked for Judge Kent A. Jordan on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit from 2007 to 2008 and Judge Sharon Prost on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from 2006 to 2007. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2006, her Ph.D. and M. Phil in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University in 2003 and 2000, and her B.S. from the University of Minnesota in 1997.
