Judge Kelly Rankin was confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming on March 7, 2024. Previously, he served as the Chief United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Wyoming from 2012. Prior to that, he worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Wyoming, as counsel to the governor of Wyoming, as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, and as a lawyer for Park County and Lincoln County. He holds a J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law and a B.S. from the University of Wyoming.
