Kevin G. Ritz is the United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, a role he has had since 2022, but he has worked in this office since 2005. Earlier in his career, Ritz served as Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Section and President of the Memphis/Mid-South Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004, his M.S. from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1999, and his B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Virginia in 1997.
